Use this budget sheet to help you complete the Financial Information questionnaire of your application. Please note that all the costs listed are estimates.
- Tuition is for 3 credits for one term of study
- To qualify for the immigration form DS-2019 used to obtain a J-1 student visa a student’s total financial resources for each trimester must add up to $30,128 USD (for the 3 terms, the total comes to $90,384 USD). This is the part known as Financial Certification and Support.
- Union will waive the cost of tuition for each term at $23,022 USD per term ($69,066 USD for the three terms) as per our exchange agreement.
- The student will be responsible for the per term cost of room $3,126 USD, board $2,550 USD, insurance = $750 USD and living expenses (books/personal) $680 USD = $7,106 USD. For the three terms, the total is $21,318 USD.
- Health insurance coverage is from August 1 - June 30
- Summer school tuition is not included.
