2021 Spring Term Applications

The application deadline has passed for the 2021 spring term programs to England (London), Germany, Italy (Florence or Sicily), and San Francisco. We are accepting applications to the following programs:
  • 2021-22 Academic Year Program: The William Cady Stone application is due Friday, week 5 of winter term. Contact the office for more information.

  • 2022 Winter and/or Spring Term/s: The Non-Union Program application is due by Friday, week 3 of spring term. The Independent Study Abroad application is due Friday, week 5 of winter term. The  Contact the office for more information.

 OTHER INFORMATION

  • Program Notification

    • Decision letters for winter term programs will be emailed after 4:00 pm on Monday, September 21

    • Decision letters for spring term programs will be emailed after 4:00 pm on Friday, October 16

    • Independent Study Abroad and William Cady Stone letters will be emailed before the end of the winter term, 2021.

    • Non-Union letters will be sent before the end of spring term, 2021.

  • Program Confirmation

    • Winter Programs: If accepted, you must commit to the program on your online application by Monday, September 28

    • Spring Programs: If accepted, you must commit on your online application by Tuesday, November 3

  • Withdrawal Policy

    • After committing to a program, the withdrawal policy will apply if you withdraw. The policy can be found in the Academic Catalog

  • Passports/Visas

    • Passports: Students going abroad must have a passport that is valid for the duration of the program abroad. Some countries require passports to be valid for up to 6 months after the date of entry. Students are responsible for determining entry and exit requirements for the location of their study abroad program. If you do not yet have a passport, have a passport that has expired or will expire while you are abroad, we strongly urge you to apply for or renew your passport now. In normal times, it takes 6-8 weeks to obtain a passport, once you have applied. Facilities are slowly opening, and the services available depend upon the facility location. Please visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/get-fast/passport-agencies.html for more information and have your materials ready to apply.

    • Visas: U.S. going abroad to any of the winter or spring terms programs will not need a student visa. If you are an international student, you will need to research the requirements. The International Programs office will work with you to assist you in gathering the necessary documents.

  • Scholarship Information

    • Financial Aid, Scholarships and Fellowships

    • The U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is accepting applications for the October 2020 Deadline. The October 2020 Deadline application is open for in-person and virtual programs that start between January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021. This cycle encompasses Winter 2021, Spring 2021, Summer 2021, Fall 2021, and Academic Year 2021-2022 programs.

      • Applications are due Tuesday, October 6, 2020,by 11:59 pm (Pacific Time).
