- The William Cady Stone Study Abroad Fellowship enables one junior to study abroad for a full year at an accredited institution of his or her choice.
- In most programs, students are accompanied by a Union professor, who teaches one course.
- Students live with host families in some countries and in dormitories or apartments in others.
